Bunny's
Magical Mushroom Tour

"Shrooms 'R Blooms!"

What is ...
a mushroom?

It's the fruiting body of a fungus!!

Didja know?
Mushrooms can't produce their own food.

They must obtain their nutrition from other living things.

Certain fungi are parasitic,
attacking living or damaged plants.

Fungi are essential in nature's housekeeping ...

They recycle dead organic material.

They are symbiotic partners with all
trees, shrubs and most herbs ...

Their underground system of fine threads surrounds or grows into the roots of the green plants supplying them with minerals, trace elements and water. The green plants feed the fungus with food produced through photosynthesis.

This partnership makes it possible for forests
to grow—even in poor soil.

We've now come to the end of Bunny's Magical Mushroom Tour ...

And ...

Remember what Bunny always says,

"Know the fungus among us"
- or -

"If you pick you may get sick!"

Happy trails to you!
